Google Calendar Connector
Let the AI book appointments directly into your Google Calendar. Leads can see your real-time availability and schedule meetings without back-and-forth emails.
How Calendar Booking Works
Real-Time Availability
The AI checks your Google Calendar in real-time to find open slots that work for both you and the lead.
Instant Booking
When a lead confirms, the appointment is immediately added to your calendar with all the details.
Timezone Handling
Automatically converts timezones so leads see times in their local zone and you get it in yours.
Setup Instructions
Open Your Widget Settings
Go to your Widgets page and select the widget you want to add calendar booking to. Open the widget's Connectors tab.
Connect Your Google Calendar
Click Connect Google Calendar and sign in with the Google account you use for your calendar. This creates a Google Calendar connector for your organization - all widgets can use it.
Permissions required: OnLeads needs access to view your calendar events and create new ones. We only access the calendars you explicitly authorize.
Enable Calendar Tools
Once the connector is active, switch to the Tools tab on your widget settings. Enable the Get Available Slots and Book Appointment tools. These tools are now bound to your Google Calendar connector for this widget.
Set Your Availability
Configure when you're available for appointments in your widget's connector settings:
How long each meeting should be (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes).
Gap added between appointments to avoid back-to-back bookings (0–60 minutes).
Days and time range when bookings are accepted (e.g., Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm). Toggle weekends on/off.
Minimum advance notice required before a booking (e.g., 2 hours prevents same-day bookings with less than 2 hours notice).
How many days ahead availability is shown (7–90 days).
Set your timezone in your profile settings. The AI uses this to show leads times in their local zone.
Test the Booking Flow
Open your chat widget and start a test conversation. Ask to book an appointment and verify that the AI shows your availability and can successfully create a calendar event.

Troubleshooting
AI not offering booking▼
Make sure the Google Calendar connector is active on your widget and the booking tools are enabled in the widget's Tools tab. The AI only offers booking when it detects high intent and there are open slots.
Wrong timezone showing▼
Check your timezone in your profile settings and in Google Calendar. Make sure they match your actual location.
Bookings not appearing in calendar▼
Check the connector status on your widget's Connectors tab. If the status shows an error, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google account to refresh the OAuth token.
One Calendar per Organization
A Google Calendar connection belongs to the organization and can be used by all of its widgets. Connecting a different Google account replaces the organization's current calendar connection.
